What does An Architect Do ?

Brings together within the project all the element that are required by the client, taking into consideration the client's lifestyle and preferences.

Deals with statutory authorities and obtains planning permission. Sketches showing both interior and exterior of the building are provided for the client's approval before accurate drawings are submitted to the relevant authorities.

Carries out administration of the works from the point of conceiving the project to the point where tenders are obtained. Thereafter, the architect checks the work on site and approves the building before it is handed back to the owner.

Acts as quasi-arbitrator who professionally advises the client and the contractor when dispute arise.
